Estelle Toby Goldstein, MD may be one of the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet, but she is gaining a reputation as "The Renegade Doctor." Why a renegade? Because she is fed-up with the way the insurance companies, the pharmaceutical companies, the AMA and the FDA interfere with the way a doctor treats a patient. With over 25 years of medical practice in three countries and experience in nearly every type of medical practice in existance, Dr. Goldstein is also one of the most impressive people you will ever meet. When yo uget to know her, you will agree, she's one very exceptional lady.

In her medical career, she has studied in Europe and Canada as well as the USA. She has attended specialty training beyond medical school in the fields of general surgery, neurology and neurosurgery and psychiatry/psychopharmacology. She has worked in a variety of positions, including fireman/EMT, medical school professor, Army Medical Corps psychiatrist, drug researcher, and now has her own clinic in San Diego where she is concentrating on what she calls Mind/Body medicine - or Integrative Medicine.

She is a native of suburban Boston, MA, and is married to Wade B. Ward, who also manages her practice.
